The epic story ofOne Pieceis at its peak currently with events such as the God Valley Incident, Vegapunk’s experiment on Kuma, and Gorosei making an entry. As confirmed by many, the story has entered its final saga and from here on, it’s only going to get better and better. Fans have been eagerly waiting for each chapter every week as the story is getting more exciting after every chapter.

Recently, one of the chapters ofOne Piecerevealed some interesting and exciting information about Portgas D. Ace, the brother of Luffy and the second commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. It was revealed that Ace defeated one of the warlords of the sea when he was a rookie, which is a big thing for a rookie pirate to achieve.
However, defeating a Warlord may not only have made Ace popular, but it also brought a huge change in the story of the series which many fans may have not noticed. This battle would have been great to watch, but sadly it never got drawn in the past, and maybe it won’t be shown in the future either.

Ace Defeated a Warlord of the Sea inOne Piece
The story’s Chapter 1100 describes Kuma’s ascension to the Seven Warlords of the Sea, because of a decisive battle between Ace and the warlord of the sea Kuma was replacing, which was won by Ace. This demonstrated that Ace was a very strong pirate even in his rookie years.
One Piecefans will probably never see the epic battle that takes place and because of this the identity of the unnamed Seven Warlord will remain a mystery. But Ace’s strength was much more than this, as he has faced off against not just one, but two Warlords of the sea.

It has also been reported in the past that Ace and Jimbei, the former warlord of the sea, engaged in a five-day battle until they were both too tired to go on. This battle between Ace and the warlord of the sea who Kuma replaced holds a much bigger importance in the series and may be the reason for a big change that the story witnessed.

Ace’s Fight With The Warlord Changed The Entire Series
An incredible battle against a Warlord of the Sea that fans will probably never get to witness was a major factor in Ace, Luffy’s brother, becoming well-known in the pirate world and it was before Luffy even entered the seas.
Unfortunately, Ace’s battle with a Warlord isn’t depicted in the manga since it causesOne Pieceto undergo a lot of significant changes. After Ace vanquished the Warlord, Kuma was promptly asked to take over the position to preserve the World Government’s reputation.

Had Kuma not assumed the role of Warlord, he would not have been able to make the crucial intervention that kept Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats crew alive at the Sabaody Archipelago. Therefore, Kuma saving Luffy was a butterfly effect that was caused by Ace defeating a Warlord, showing Ace protecting his brother unintentionally.
