The ’90s were an incredible time to be alive. Hollywood gave us some epic action-adventure masterpieces that are still relevant to this day.

Now he must convince the townspeople to evacuate the area before it is too late.
Double Team
Jean-Claude Van Damme was at a career high during the ’90s. And many times he gave us some cheesy action thrillers that were pure popcorn flicks. Double Team was one of those rare occasions where a JCVD movie was termed to be rewatchable. Paul Quinn, a retired government agent, is forced to return to the field when his nemesis returns. Paul must join the CIA to catch Stavros – his greatest nightmare.
Bill Paxton plays Ben and Helen Hunt portrays Jo in the movie. They play a storm chaser and a meteorologist who never see eye to eye because of their marital differences. Now the divorced couple must put all their quarrels aside to save the people from a series of violent tornadoes that are terrorizing Oklahoma.

Deep Blue Sea
The sea can be treacherous. And it does not take lightly when humans try to play God. In an underwater base, a group of researchers are using genetically modified sharks to search for a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Trouble ensues when the Sharks escape captivity and start hunting the humans down. The genetic modifications have made them smarter and more aggressive.
The Hunt For Red October
The Hunt For Red October has an ensemble cast and a great story line. CIA analyst Jack Ryan realizes that the captain of an experimental nuclear submarine – Captain Marko Ramius, is trying to defect. He only has a few hours left to find him and the submarine. It is an absoluteTom Clancyclassic that is full of suspense and thrill.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Granted it is more into science fiction,Star TrekVI: The Undiscovered Country still counts as an action adventure because of the plot. The Three Musketeers
Based on the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas. the movie follows the titular three musketeers and a starry eyed rookie who wants to make a name for himself. The heroes must help save the King and Country from the scheming machinations of the evil Cardinal Richelieu. the movie has a very good flow and there is incredible chemistry between the lead and supporting characters.
Independence Day
No one ever thought that an alien invasion movie could be this engrossing. Roland Emmerich pulled all stops to make this movie a hit. From creative marketing strategies to an inventive plot, Independence Day had everything you could ever ask for. Alien invasion movies are a dime a dozen now. ButIndependence Daywas where Hollywood reached its peak within that sub-genre. Every other movie that came after it has failed to hit that benchmark.
Brandan Fraser andRachel Weiszteam up for this action horror comedy thriller. Fraser plays Rick O’Connell, an adventurer who is hired by Egyptologist Evy (Rachel Weisz). Predator 2
While the first movie is considered a cult-classic, Predator 2 is cursed to live in the original movie’s shadow. But the sequel is actually a pretty good movie in its own right. Lieutenant Mike Harrigan hunts down a mysterious alien killing machine who is slaughtering the drug gangs of Los Angeles. There are no trees. The Predator has now taken to the concrete jungle.
