Although her movies did not do so well, she gave her everything to bring the character to life. It was the audience’s approval that failed her. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she stands as one of the strongest superheroes, fighting wars with ease.
It holds a value of how much talent she has put into the role. Being an Oscar-winning actress, she has proven time and again that no script is that big of a challenge for her. However, there is also the factor that sometimes, it is not the acting itself but the story surrounding the actor that fails them. She was once considered to play the role of Carol Danvers and if she had gotten that role, it would have been one of the biggest deals for her.
Emily Blunt
If there is one actress who fans have been begging to get into the MCU, it is Emily Blunt. Even Marvel Studios has approached her on multiple occasions. Before Brie Larson’s role, she almost took both Scarlett Johansson and Hayley Atwell’s roles. She was even considered to be Captain Marvel herself. However, Blunt has often rejected the roles because of her lack of interest.
