The Walking Deadhas had success in the video game industry, butDying Light 2could bring the world of Rick Grimes and Negan to new heights. The franchise has spanned televisions shows, comic books, video games, board games, card games, and more. There have been VR games, interactive story games, mobile games, and even a Facebook game, but anything close to the action packed survival-horror gameplay that comes withDying Light 2seems to be missing from titles based inThe Walking Deaduniverse.

The Dying Light Universe May Be the Perfect Way to Use Characters From The Walking Dead in Gaming

What works when it comes toThe Walking DeadinfiltratingDying Light 2is the fact that the title already has a great reception with fans and critics of the game. Techland just has to tell a decent story and continue to bring quality gameplay to the table for there to be a meaningful experience. The Walking Deadnow possibly has the chance to be experienced on a console, in a crossover event that is more than just skin based, as fans have seen with titles like:Rogue Company, Tekken 7, Fortinite, Brawlhalla, and The Escapists.

Dying Light 2could be the way fans finally have a quality experience stepping into the shoes of the favored crossbow wielding Daryl Dixon or perhaps get to pop the eye out of a zombie as Negan with his barbwire covered bat, Lucille. If Techland plays its’ cards right and gives fans an exciting new zombie story with these dynamic characters, it might mean big things for both franchises.
