Legendary actor Robert De Niro has had a long and illustrious career in Hollywood, with iconic roles in films such asThe Godfather Part II(1974),Taxi Driver(1976), andRaging Bull(1980). ActorRobert De Nirorecently sat down with ET Canada to talk about his upcoming movie,About My Father. The movie narrates the story of a father and his son and while the actor was on that topic, he revealed that he welcomed his seventh child recently. When host Brittnee Blair said that he has six kids, the actor corrected her by saying,
“Seven, actually.I just had a baby.“
Robert De Niro’s representatives then confirmed that the actor is actually now a father of seven children. However, the identity of the mother is yet to be revealed.

De Niro shares two children, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, and two children, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with ex-wife, Grace Hightower. That’s not it, he also welcomed twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with his former girlfriend, Toukie Smith.

Robert De Niro started acting in the 1960s
De Niro has been a part of the entertainment industry for over five decades now. He was born in New York City in 1943 and managed to bag small roles in the 1960s. His breakthrough role was in the filmMean Streets(1973) directed by Martin Scorsese, who would become one of De Niro’s frequent collaborators.
He went on to star in several iconic films in the 1970s, includingThe Godfather Part II(1974),Taxi Driver(1976), andThe Deer Hunter(1978).
