Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is slated to be officially launched on November 10, and is expected to be competing withStarfield, from Bethesda Game Studios come the end of 2023. One of the main talking points about both titles has been their final price. The games are yet to go live for pre-order, but thanks to a piece of leaked information, fans can now have a good idea of how much the two games might finally cost. The leaked pricing is surprisingly quite low when compared toModern Warfare 2‘s price, leaving many gamers wondering if the leaked pricing might change.

An Australian social media user has stumbled upon the pricing of the upcoming reboot by Activision on Steam, the storefront from Valve. The pricing seems to be a lot lower than the expected pricing forStarfieldand appears to be a glitch as it’s not showing up for all Steam users. The pricing isn’t officially announced yet either, so there’s still time for the leaked pricing to be altered, if at all.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Pricing Expected To Be Significantly Lower

The leak was identified by Evan Fox on the social media platform, X, and as shown in his clip below, the purported pricing shows up as AUD$ 54.95, which comes up to just US $35.29. The pricing also appears to be that of the base version of the game. The reason most gamers are caught surprised is that whenModern Warfare 2was released last year, the standard version cost US $69.99. When compared the new title coming out later this year appears to be priced at almost half of the price.

Just to quash any doubts over the authenticity of the leaked screenshot, Evan Fox has also uploaded a video recording of him searching for the title in Steam and getting the pricing shown up.

Bethesda’sStarfieldis bound to be a $70 game for the standard edition, and a further $20 more for the Premium edition. This is in line with most new games released off-late, and this also falls in line with Activision’s announcement about their upcoming title also to cost a full $70, despite leaks. Activision had to come out with the confirmation three days after the leaked pricing raised many questions about whether the game might be an expansion.

To squash any doubts, Activision came out with the pricing details while also confirming the game to be a stand-alone reboot.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is expected to finally reveal the official price for all regions later today. Once the pricing goes live, gamers will know the official price on all three major platforms, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is set to bring back Makarov as one of the major villains alongside Zombies, another fan-favorite from an older title. The game is expected to be another smash hit for all the returning classic characters and the shift back to Zombies, not just as a side mission. Zombies debuted 15 years back in 2008, with the titleCall of Duty: World at Waras a series of “hordes” where gamers faced increasingly difficult waves of Zombies to be defeated.

Bethesda’sStarfieldis also riding high on expectations ever since the game was announced back in 2018. The launch date was finally announced back in March this year and gamers have been waiting to get their hands on the title ever since.
