The official trailer for Christopher Nolan’sOppenheimerfilm has finally arrived, and it looks promising with its star-studded cast and stunning cinematography. The film will be distributed by Universal Pictures, and it will starPeaky Blindersactor Cillian Murphy in the lead.
The cast will also include Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves Jr., Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer, and Gary Oldman as Harry S. Truman. There will also be additional appearances by Kenneth Branagh, Rami Malek, Dane DeHaan, Alden Ehrenreich, Josh Peck, Alex Wolff, James D’Arcy, and many more.

Cillian Murphy Stars In Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer
TheOppenheimermovie will feature the life of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer who is known for inventing the atomic bomb. The story will focus on his personal and professional life as he is one of the main contributors to the Manhattan Project.
This research was conducted between 1942-1946 and centers on creating nuclear weapons. Oppenheimer was a director at the Los Alamos Laboratory, the facility where bombs are manufactured.

Peaky BlindersstarCillian Murphywill take on the character, his first-ever lead role in a Nolan-directed film. He has been in many of the director’s previous projects such asInception,Dunkirk, and threeBatmanmovies, among others. Murphy praised Nolan for his exceptional work; he toldThe Guardian:
“I’ll always turn up for Chris, whatever the size of the part. Chris will call me up and I’m there. Isn’t it wonderful that filmmakers are still making challenging, demanding films within the studio system, shot on film rather than Imax? I think he’s flying the flag.”

The movie is based on the novelAmerican Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimerby Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The biographical literature was a recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 2006. Aside from directing the movie,Nolanwill also serve as the producer together with Charles Roven and Emma Thomas.
Oppenheimerwill arrive in theaters on July 05, 2025.
