The Game Awards 2024 saw the official announcement for Dave the Diver “In the Jungle”. Fans of the 8-bit game genre should rejoice because they are getting some extra content for the never-ending diving game. By the looks of it and the official trailer, it appears to be an expansion pack, much like how there have been some before.
Dave the Diver’s Brand New Game? All We Know So Far
Unlike some crossover packs likeDredgeandGodzilla, which were free, “In the Jungle” appears to be a paid expansion. Instead of buying a new game at the same price, MINTROCKET might list it as an expansion and charge players for it.
This could be because we can observeseveral notable changesin the upcoming expansion. And unlike the previous DLCs, it may not be given out for free given the breadth of the content. We could be wrong though.
Although there is no confirmation, we should be able to play the same old Blue Hole until we apply the expansion. If the developers are generous enough, we may also be able to revisit the area for some unique fish to catch! We will have to wait and see.
