The developers aim to penalize several unfair and toxic behaviors within the community. Starting by focusing on anti-slugging, where they are working on a new feature calledSurrender State. It benefits both survivors and killers in different scenarios.

Another condemned behavior addressed in the update is the ‘Go-Next’, preventing the action of survivors, who deliberately give up to speed the process of getting into their next game.

They also plan to change the way how the AFK Crows works to preventextreme hiding & body-blockingbehavior. Additionally, several changes are planned forMap Offerings, which increases the chance of a specific map appearing by 20% rather than guaranteeing it.

Moreover, theSpawning Ruleswill be slightly adjusted— where each Survivor will spawn within 12 meters of one another, on the same floor (if applicable), reducing their advantage over map control.Gamma adjustments, a highly-requested feature, are also planned during Phase 1. It allows players to adjust Gamma settings on all platforms.
