Meanwhile, Zenitsu stands alone, facing an opponent whose face remains hidden, likely Kaigaku, his former senior and the new Upper Rank Six. But the trailer’s main highlight is the long-awaited confrontation between Tanjiro Kamado and Akaza, the powerful Upper Rank Three demon responsible for the death of Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castleis the first full theatrical follow-up toMugen Train, the 2020 blockbuster film that grossed over $507 million worldwide. Global Release and Streaming Plans
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures will distribute the film globally, excluding Japan and select Asian markets. It will release in over 100 countries, making it one of the widest theatrical rollouts for an anime film to date. No official streaming release has been confirmed, but Crunchyroll is expected to add the trilogy to its platform following the films’ theatrical runs.
Regional Release Dates of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle
The first installment ofDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castleis set to premiere in Japan on August 08, 2025, distributed by Aniplex and Toho. Shortly after, several Southeast Asian regions will get early screenings in August: Thailand on August 12, followed by Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Singapore on August 14, then Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam on August 15, and finally the Philippines on August 20.
The global rollout begins in early September, with the film reaching Latin America, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and many parts of Europe on September 11. The United States, Canada, United Kingdom, India, South Africa, and several other countries follow on September 12. France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and French-speaking Africa receive the film on September 17, and the German-speaking regions of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland see it on September 25

Returning Cast and Music Highlights
The film features the return of the core voice cast, with Natsuki Hanae reprising his role as Tanjiro Kamado and Akari Kitō returning as Nezuko. It also introduces two new theme songs that will accompany the trilogy’s emotional and action-heavy moments: “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” by Aimer and “Shine in the Cruel Night” by LiSA. Both tracks are set to release globally on major music streaming platforms starting July 18.
Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Storyline
The Infinity Castle is a surreal, multi-dimensional stronghold where Muzan makes his final stand. Each Hashira is separated into different battle zones, facing powerful Upper Moons in life-or-death fights. As Shinobu fights Doma and Zenitsu faces Kaigaku, Tanjiro closes in on Akaza to avenge Rengoku. Meanwhile, Nezuko’s mysterious transformation continues to unfold, adding urgency to the final battle against Muzan.
While this first film will only adapt part of the arc, two sequels are already planned. Whether the final chapters of the manga, which extend beyond the Infinity Castle arc, will be adapted into a fourth movie or a final season remains unclear.
