Tom Holland put on the mask of Spider-Man back in 2016 when his character was introduced inCaptain America: Civil War.Fighting alongside Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Holland received mixed reviews as the new Spider-Man.
Talking about how the MCU played a prank on the actor, Holland revealed that he was forced to attend a school as part of his acting process. Sitting next to a pretty girl, Tom Holland was quickly forced to shut up when the girl exclaimed that he was nuts for calling himself Spider-Man.

Before he was made the official core member of the MCU, Holland had little to no fame to his name. The actor recalled a time he had jokingly asked the higher-ups at Marvel to place him in a school so that he could get comfortable with the atmosphere.

Although the actor said it jokingly and in a sarcastic way, the MCU decided to go with it. Putting him in a science school, the actor recalled an incident where he was sitting next to a pretty girl in class. Noting how he wasn’t famous as Spider-Man, the actor revealed his secret to her and she toldTom Hollandthat he was“f–king nuts, bro”.
“So I was sitting next to this very pretty girl in class. And you have to go through an exam process to get into this school which obviously I didn’t do. And she’s like ‘Hey man, what’s your deal? How are you here?'”
The actor further continued,
“I was like ‘Well, let me tell you my secret. I’m actually um…I’m actually Spider-Man’. She’s like ‘Dude, you’re f–king nuts, bro. Really?’ And i’m like ‘No, seriously I’m Spider-Man'”
This wasn’t the end of the conversation since Tom Holland revealed that he hadn’t been declared as the new Spider-Man so people were really not aware of who he was.

The actor shared the last part of the story which essentially was the cherry on the top. As revealed by Holland, he hadn’t been officially revealed as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man anywhere. This led to a hilarious conversation between him and the“very pretty girl”as she thought Holland was a“nutter”.

Well, the actor eventually found worldwide fame by starring as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tom Holland, is currently available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S.
