With artists like Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and Marshmello,Fortnitehas often been home to unique virtual concerts for millions of players to rejoice. In recent leaks, we’ve come to know thatFortnite Battle Royalewill once again host an event related to an iconic artist, Eminem.

This will likely be the largest event in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Sources suggest that an outfit inspired by Eminem will soon make its way to the game and will be a part of the Icon series. Additionally, the outfit will have different styles, too. Based on leaked files, the event ‘Big Bang’ will take place on December 2 and hopefully transition the game’s current season (Fortnite OG) to Chapter 5.

The Eminem Cosmetic Items: What Can We Expect?

The globally renown hip-hop artist will have his own in-game concert. We’re not sure if it’s going to be as big as the Ariana Grande and Travis Scott ones or smaller ‘game mode’ versions of his music. Despite that, we do know that Eminem (or Slim Shady) is getting his own unique outfit in the game. This will likely cost 1500 V-Bucks (Fortnite’sin-game currency).

Leakers likeHYPEXhave also uncovered two other outfits, which will hopefully make their way to the game’s item shop soon. Eminem is going to have two stylish looks: Slim Shady and Marshall Never More. Based on the files, any player who attends the event unlocks the Magma Style for the Marshall Never More variant of the outfit.

In the past, the game has featured massive events that showcased an artist’s music on a grand scale and let players interact with the in-game event features.

Furthermore, there’s a reactive backbling called Shady Boom Box and a pickaxe that goes by the name Shady Double Saw. Finally, there’s a built-in emote for the outfit that shows off the rapper’s recognizable on-stage stance.

These cosmetics subtly show off the artist’s music style and how the subgenre blends in with the game’s vibrant and dynamic world.

The Fortnite Event Will Possibly Be the Biggest One Yet

Fortnitefans are aware of how long it has been since players have had an in-game event. Previously, each season’s end would showcase a huge live event where players could experience the transition into the game’s next season. However, this hasn’t been the case for many seasons now, and it looks like the game’s next season will have a bang of a start.

Leaks have suggested that the next event will likely be thebiggestone in Fortnite so far. A massive 1.5+ GB file size hints at an event that will also perhaps introduce players to the next chapter of the game. If the music event directly ties in with the season-ending, then it may also introduce players directly to the game’s next map.

The event takes place at the end of this season’s battle pass (December 2), which makes the speculation even more accurate. Titled ‘Big Bang’, the loading screen for the event also has the tagline,‘It’s a whole new world out there.’

The files, however, don’t suggest any in-game interactions, the length of the event, or what players can expect purely from the musical context. Given how Eminem is popular for his R-rated lyrical prowess, it’s somewhat bizarre to see such a phenomenal hip-hop artist make his way into the game when Epic is struggling to reason with parents who are concerned about the game being ‘safe’ for their kids.

Nonetheless, the event is likely to attract audiences from a global perspective, even if they don’t play the game.

Moreover, recent controversies and restrictions have limited the cosmetics and their usability in the game. Whether or not Eminem cosmetics will fall victim to the same is something we’ll have to wait and observe. In the meantime, however, players can finally expect to see a massive event coming to the game that might change the game’s core map and gameplay experience, paving a path toward a new chapter.
