Britney Spears and Sam Asghari had their wedding on Thursday. June 9. The two had been in a relationship for a long time before finally tying the knot. The news was confirmed by Brandon Cohen, Sam Asghari’s representative. The ceremony took place at the residence of the singer in Thousand Oaks, California. The two met on the set of “Slumber Party” – a song by Britney Spears and the two confirmed their relationship on Instagram on New Year’s Day 2017, and now the two are finally married. The wedding was attended by a long list of VIP guests.

The guest list at the high-profile celebrity wedding had quite a few known names. The wedding was attended by Madonna, Donatella Versace, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, and her husband Carter Reum, and her mother Kathy Hilton was present too. According to a source, “It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect. She is so excited that she feels overwhelmed. She is very emotional.”
Her brother, Bryan, attended the wedding too but no other family member of the pop singer was at the wedding. But her sons did send the couple their wishes. According to People, the two “are happy for their mom and they are hopeful that Samand Britneyare starting a great future together. It’s their night and they didn’t want to take away from them.”
The celebrity wedding wasn’t free of drama either
Apart from all the celebrities, the wedding was ‘attended’ by an unexpected guest. The ex-husband of the singer crashed the wedding. Jason Alexander was a childhood friend of hers and the two were briefly married in 2004. He came to the wedding to crash it and the police had to be called. He even live-streamed his “attack” on Instagram, he entered telling the guards that he was invited.

He is seen in the video, yelling “where’s Britney?’ He ran into a tent nest and was heard saying, “So here’s the inside scoop, guys, on the bullshit wedding.” He then had to be forcefully stopped and police were called to take him away.
Despite all the drama, the wedding was quite a celebration. And now the two are happily married.
