Wish to try an outfit, but confused about how it will look on you? Google Doppl is here to solve the problem. With the power of AI, you can now visualize how different outfits might look on you. The app is currently only available in the US at the moment, and here’s how it will work.
You Can Now Try Any Outfit With the Google Doppl App
Google’s Doppl uses a digital version of your body to let you try any outfit you want. To get started, you will need to upload a full-body image of yourself. Next, you can use any screenshot or image of the outfit that you wish to try. It will create a virtual avatar of you with your favourite dress on it.
The Doppl app uses the power of AI to superimpose images of dresses, shirts, and pants on your body. A great way to see how a particular outfit will look before you decide to buy or wear it.

you may share the end result with your friends and even apply video effects to it. And in case a dress is incomplete, Doppl can harness the power of AI to generate the missing elements like pants, shoes, etc.
There is also a favorite button if you wish to save an output. Moreover, you’re able to browse all the previously generated outputs as well.
Currently, the Doppl app only supports tops, bottoms, and dresses. However, Google has confirmed that it is working on adding more clothing options to the app.
This isn’t the first time Google has experimented with the idea of virtual clothes try-on. They showcased a similar tech back in 2023 and also a Google Shopping feature with virtual try-on atGoogle I/O 2025.

Once you have downloaded the Doppl app on your iOS and Android device, here’s how you can use it:
Availability And Download
The Doppl is in the experimental phase and is available oniOSandAndroid. Do note that it’s currently exclusively compatible with Pixel phones on Android.
Furthermore, it’s only limited to users 18 and above in the US. Google hasn’t shared any plans on whether the app will be available in other regions as well.
It is available for users aged 18 and above with a Google account. The app currently does not support accessories such as shoes, belts, glasses, etc. Since it’s in the experimental phase, the output might not be perfect.
