The DC shakeup announced by James Gunn has had almost the entirety of the fandom burning the candle at both ends trying to reinstate the SnyderVerse. Meanwhile, the co-CEOs of the studio are busy wiping off every remaining speck of Zack Snyder’s influence on the brand-new DCU. In fact, fresh reports attesting to the same have emerged, claiming that the forthcoming DCU film,The Flash, is going to be wholly bereft of any SnyderVerse references whatsoever.

Looks like fans are in for yet another surprise.

But the prospect of its denouement seems to have been solidified with rumors aboutThe Flashundergoing some last-minute changes to scrape off all SnyderVerse references that it contained.
According to Geeks Worldwide’s KC Walsh, the upcoming Andy Muschietti-helmed venture starring Ezra Miller is going to wipe out any and everything alluding toZack Snyder’s Justice Leagueand the SnyderVerse in general upon its release. Walsh also mentioned that“apparently [Barry Allen] never traveled back in time before and doesn’t remember meeting Iris ever,”further confirming the reported alterations in the movie.

Additionally, the official Twitter page forThe Flashstated that“the minor vague references are still there”in the film, implying that the more prominent associations with the SnyderVerse won’t be included.
