According to the latest news coming in from Hollywood, Jonathan Majors has courted trouble in his personal life and the allegations look pretty serious.

Jonathan Majors Arrested for Assault
ActorJonathan Majorshas had a run-in with the law. TheCreed 3star was arrested in New York City over the weekend for assault charges involving a woman. According to law enforcement sources, Majors was booked on Saturday morning on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. The victim, who is the actor’s alleged girlfriend, was reported to have been in a taxi with Majors as the couple was returning from a bar in Brooklyn. The girlfriend who was uncomfortable with Majors texting another woman, tried to peek into his phone. The Marvel star was allegedly provoked by this act and reacted by slapping the woman while also putting his hands around her neck tightly.
Majors then allegedly dropped his date off at an unknown location and proceeded to spend the night alone. The woman reported the incident on Saturday morning along with exposing her injuries, which include a laceration behind her ear, redness, and marks on her face. She was taken to an area hospital and was reported to be stable. Majors was then located and taken into custody but was subsequently released, according to inside sources.

What Does Jonathan Majors’ Arrest Mean For His Career?
Jonathan Majors invited trouble over the weekend by getting arrested on charges of assault against his alleged girlfriend. The actor who was taken into custody on Saturday has now been freed. Majors’ representative released a statement saying,
“He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
While the actor’s team is earnestly working on damage control, this incident could be a black mark against the star despite his name eventually being cleared. Majors has always kept his private life under wraps, although he has spoken of a daughter in the past. But his professional life has taken off in a big way and could now be affected with these recent charges. The actor’s film,Magazine Dreamswhich won a Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival, is due to release globally in December this year. Majors also recently announced plans to star in and produce Amazon Studios’Da Understudy, with Spike Lee in talks to direct the film. The star was also seen beside his co-actor Michael B. Jordan at the recently concluded Oscars, where the duo presented an award. And of course, he has multiple projects with the Marvel Studios. Now, with his latest tryst with the law, it remains to be seen if these allegations will mar the actor’s soaring professional career.
