Kate Winslet was terrified when she first met Alan Rickman

When the famousTitanicactress was asked about her experience working with theDogmaactor, she explained that she was terrified when she first met Rickman. While talking about her first meeting with the late actor, the 47-year-old actress said,
“Alan is such a gentleman but when I first met him I was absolutely terrified. I was 19 and he’s got that voice. I remember thinking, ‘I’m going to die, he thinks I’m rubbish, why am I here?”’
In another interview, theI Amactress stated that all the famous actors who worked with her on the film treated her on the same level. Even though she was a newcomer, the co-stars made sure she was fine.

During an interview, Rickman recalled that theDivergentactress wrote a book about her experience on the set ofSense and Sensibility.The late British actor explained that Winslet would note down the things director Ang Lee would say and there were some quotes as well. In the romantic drama movie, Rickman played the role of King Louis XIV, and the 47-year-old actress portrayed the character of Sabine De Barra. The late actor recalled during an interview that when he first met Winslet she was 19 years old, the British actor said,
“We worked together when she was 19 in Sense and Sensibility. It was like meeting a whole new person. Kate is someone who arrives incredibly prepared, free, and non-judgmental. She is a phenomenal craftsperson.”
