The son of late actor Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee, had many similarities with his father. Like his father, he was also an actor and a Martial artist. Apart from their similarities in skills and professionalism, there is one more eerie resemblance between the two. Both father and son died at a very young age.

However, what’s interesting about this coincidence is that Brandon Lee predicted his own death a year before he died in an accident. During an interview, Brad Pitt revealed that in an intoxicated state, Lee expressed his fear of dying young, just like his father Bruce Lee.

During an interview withEsquire, Brad Pitt shared that once he was partying withBrandon Leeat his house, and they both were highly intoxicated. In that ‘stony’ state, Lee confessed that he believed that he would encounter a tragic death just like his father. Pitt recalled,

“A real, you know, drunk and stony night, and he proceeded that night to tell me how he thought he was going to die young like his dad.”

Pitt didn’t take it seriously as he knew that Lee was highly stoned. But what startled the Oscar-winning actor was Lee’s death a year after making this prediction of dying at an early age.

When Lee was 28 years old, he got the lead role in the 1994 filmThe Crow.While filming a scene in the film, Lee was accidentally shot by a real gun, which was supposed to be a prop gun. The accident ended up taking his life that day, and his prediction about meeting the same fate as his father came true.

Lee’s father, Bruce Lee was just 32 years old when he passed away.

What happened to Bruce Lee?

Bruce Lee was a renowned personality who was popularly known for his martial arts films including,Tang Shan da Xiong(1971),Jing Wu Men(1972), andEnter the Dragon(1973). In 1973, the actor breathed his last at the age of 32.

There has been no great evidence of Lee’s death, however, according toBritannica, Lee died due to“swelling of the brain caused by an allergic reaction to a headache medication.”Lee died in Hong Kong, six days prior to the release of his filmEnter the Dragon.
