Newsbroketoday that David Harbour, known for his roles inHellboyandStranger Things, would be joining theMarvel Cinematic Universein a yet to be announced role inBlack Widow. Harbour has most recently became famous for his role inNetflix’s seriesStranger Things, but also boasts an impressive career in films such asWar of the Worlds,Brokeback Mountain, andThe Equalizer.

It has also recently been rumored that Rachel Weisz andEmma Watson have been in talksfor undisclosed roles.At this point very little is known about the movie besides that Scarlett Johansson would be reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow. OtherMarvelfilms have noted possible storylines that could come up in the Black Widow movie, most notably her time in Budapest. Budapest has now been mentioned by multiple characters over the years including Nick Fury and Hawkeye, but at this point there has been no news on them being a part of this film. Black Widow has also mentioned a run in with Winter Solider himself taking place years before the film,Captain America: The Winter Solider.
The film is beingdirected by Cate Shortland, who most recently directedLore,which centered around siblings dealing with the Nazi invasion of Germany.
