Everything you need to know about the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight in Elden Ring Nightreign, and how to access the new Expedition.
The Enhanced Darkdrift Knight is now available in Elden Ring Nightreign via the Everdark Sovereign Expedition. Much like the previous Everdark Sovereign Expedition,Enhanced Gaping Jaw, the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight is essentially a more powerful version of the base game variant.

While the boss’s stats are buffed compared to its regular counterpart, that’s not what makes it more challenging. Instead, the real challenge from the Darkdrift Knight comes from its new movesets, attack chains, and a whole newthird phase. Furthermore, the empowered version of the boss also gains access to newAOE(area-of-effect) attacks, which are quite tricky to dodge.
That said, before you can even face off against the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight, you need to unlock its Everdark Sovereign Expedition. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to access the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight’s Expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Requirements for the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight Expedition (Everdark Sovereign) in Elden Ring Nightreign
Before you can start the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight Expedition, you first need to have completed two other base Expeditions. Basically, you need to complete the very first Expedition,Tricephalos, and then complete the regularDarkdrift Knightin order to unlock the empowered version of the boss. After completingTricephalos, you get access to all the other Expeditions (exceptNight Aspect).
At that point, you can simply beeline to whichever Nightlord you want to tackle. You don’t necessarily have to defeat the Nightlords in any given order. Once you defeat the Darkdrift Knight, you will gain access to theEverdark Sovereign.

To summarize, here are the requirements for the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight Expedition:
Best Nightfarers (Classes) for the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight
For the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight, the best Nightfarers areIroneye,Wylder,Raider,Executor,Duchess, andRevenant. Ironeye and Raider, in particular, are excellent choices here. Ironeye, with a Lightning Bow, can easily stagger the boss out of its most powerful combos, while Raider can easily stance-break the boss with its jumping attacks andCharacter Skill.
Additionally, you can use Revenant’s powerful familiars to stance-break the boss. However, remember to bringLightningweapons for the Enhanced Darkdrift Knight.
