How to Get the Adamantine Scimitar in BG3? Explained

You can craft the Adamantine Scimitar at the Adamantine Forge in the Underdark. You will require theScimitar Mould and a Mithral ore to craft the Rare weapon. There are only two Mithral ores in the game, so you have to be wise about how you choose to use them.

How to Get the Scimitar Mould

Spawn in at the Ancient Forge waypoint and take the path on the left towards the edge of the cliff where you find the Splint Mould. Parkour across the gap ahead and follow the path north till you reach a dead end. On your right, you will see a golden altar with a pit ahead. Jump across the gap and head up the terrain towards the south. A skeleton lies atop the staircase in front of you. Loot the body to retrieve the Scimitar Mould.

How to Get the Mithral Ores

You can obtain Mithral ores by mining them from Mithral Veins in the Underdark. The first Mithral Vein is southeast of the Ancient Forge waypoint in Grymforge, which is down a flight of stairs. This path will diverge to the left towards broken stairs. Follow the path and parkour past gaps to reach the first Mithral Vein.

Now, fast travel back to the Ancient Forge waypoint, head right and continue the path along the edge of the cliff. Parkour past gaps, and you will reach the second Mithral Vein. You have to use bludgeoning weapons to damage the Mithral Veins and subsequently mine the ores.
