Inflicting Stun on Enemies in Avowed
Firstly, you have to know how and when stun accumulates. In Avowed, any source of physical damage accumulates stun on enemies. When fighting anything, you’re able to see a second bar underneath their health bar. Any stun you accumulate is shown in that bar. Once the bar is full, the enemy gets inflicted with the stunned status effect, which immobilizes them for a while. This gives you ample time to either recuperate during the battle or dish out as much damage as possible.
Avowed allows players to use any weapons they want. However, not every weapon type is akin to one another. Similarly, the stun damage of weapons also varies for each type. Maces, hammers, and rifles deal a great quantity of stun damage to enemies while slashing weapons such as swords and daggers deal the least stun damage.
