Lindsay Lohan is among the many celebrities who have largely been unsuccessful in navigating fame. Starting as a child actress, she was once among the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood with a net worth equal to $40 million. On multiple instances, Lohan and her parents have called each other out publically and later reconciled.
The Disney star also once famously defended her parents despite earlier calling them responsible for her tumultuous life. Lindsay Lohanstarted as a child actress and has ever since pretty much grown up in the public eye. Through her fame and her ‘downfall’, theMean Girlsstar has had a pretty bad relationship with her parents, Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan. Her parents divorced backing 2007 but their own legal troubles and drug abuses have impacted their relationship with Lohan. Back in 2013, she famously was quoted as saying,
“I don’t think anything was intentionally done in that way. I hate what a bad rap people give my parents. Because they are just parents, really, at the end of the day trying to stand up for their daughter and themselves. Nobody’s perfect. I love my parents.”
Since then, her relationship with her parents has been a rollercoaster rider, to say the least. Lohan and her mother on different occasions also alleged the actress’s father was abusive growing up and would do drugs which led the actress to turn to drugs as well. He at one point also made Lohan’s number public as well abused her maternal grandparents and threatened to kill her mother.
Lindsay Lohan’s mother too hasn’t been a saint exactly. On multiple occasions, through leaked audio, Lohan was heard calling her mother a devil and accusing her of doing drugs. She also once infamously added and deleted an Instagram story accusing Dina Lohan of abandoning her.
Lately, Lindsay Lohan seems to be on a better rep with her parents, especially her mother who she was recently spotted with.
