The actress,Jada Pinkett Smithwas rumored to be in a relationship with late rapper Tupac Shakur. She once opened up about still remembering her former beau“every single day.”
In an interview with MTV viaMetro, she unveiled her feelings for the late rapper stating,
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about Pac.”
She further commented,
“I think about him every single day.”
While her comments almost convinced her fans about theSet It Offactress sharing a romantic relationship with the latter, however, she had already addressed the topic.

Back in 2015, the actress clarified to having“no physical relationship”with her rumored ex-beau despite the duo having a strong childhood bond. They were studying in the same performing arts school and continued to remain important figures in each other’s life until his demise in September 1996.
In the interview, she clarified her relationship with the rapper.
“You know, it’s so funny because now being older, I have more of an understanding of what that was between us. When you have two young people that have very strong feelings, but there was no physical chemistry between us at all, and it wasn’t even just for me – it was him too.”
She even tried kissing to take their relationship to another level but she realized it was not what she wanted. “And when I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both.”
Shakur passed away six days after getting shot by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting that happened on July 17, 2025. Recalling that time, she felt sad for not getting the opportunity to share that she loved him. The next year, the actress married Will Smith after dating him for 2 years.
