In 2017, Hollywood was rocked with the shocking sexual abuse scandal of Harvey Weinstein .The producer who was responsible for bringing many stars to the fore, was charged and arrested for assaulting and r-ping dozens of women and aspiring actresses over a period of 30 years. With each allegation, a new shocking revelation emerged from the Hollywood camp which involved many A-listers speaking out about their traumatic relationship with the producer.
During the trial, a large number of Harvey Weinstein’s victims appeared to speak about the disturbing realities that took place behind closed doors. One aspiring actor revealed a particularly vicious threat involving two Hollywood superstars that Weinstein made towards her.

Former Waitress Accused Harvey Weinstein
In 2020, Dawn Dunning took to the witness stand to recount her experience withHarvey Weinsteinback in 2004 when she was a 24 year old waitress aspiring to be an actor. Dunning met Weinstein at a downtown hotel for what she assumed was a possible opportunity to bag a role in Clive Owen’sDerailed.The former waitress revealed disturbing details of Weinstein’s behavior which included blatantly feeling her up her skirt. The producer then went on to suggest a threesome with his assistant at their next encounter as a guarantee for a career in Hollywood.
When the aspiring actor declined the offer, Weinstein allegedly flew into a fit of rage and gave her an ultimatum saying she would need to trade s*x for career opportunities. He then roped in Charlize Theron and Salma Hayek into the conversation by claiming that both actors made their way to the top only through the casting couch system in Hollywood. While Theron and Hayek were officially not involved in the Weinstein case, they were very vocal about their experiences with Weinstein and lent their support to the #metoo movement that galvanized Hollywood to take down predators like him.

Charlize Theron Brutally Dismissed Harvey Weinstein
The Harvey Weinstein scandal opened up a Pandora’s box of allegations from the heart of Hollywood. Many top stars in the industry came out with their shocking stories and experiences with the producer. Charlize Theron was among the big stars who spoke openly about Weinsten’s disturbing demeanor over the years. Speaking of the manner in which he manipulated each actor against the other, Theron said,
“One of his lines was that Renée [Zellweger] and I slept with him to get jobs. There was no limit to him. Pitting women against each other? He was really, really good at that. There was a lot of, like, ‘Well, I’m talking to Gwyneth [Paltrow] for this movie…’ Even in the s*xual favors, he would still pit us against each other.”
Theron went on to firmly state that she was never involved in giving any type of s*xual favor to Weinstein to bag a role and claimed that the producer’s allegation of the same was completely false.
