Tom Cruise has developed a reputation that might not be the best despite his career being an extravagant roster of some of the best movies. Apart from some behavioral issues and the Church of Scientology, the actor is also known for performing his stunts all by himself. He also sends out a specially made coconut cake to his friends and family during the holiday season. Brooke Shields had a lot to say about the cake. However, unfortunately, she no longer gets it.
She further recalled where exactly their long ongoing friendship may have faltered. Claiming that the actor said some things which were far from okay, she did not hold back from calling him out. Postpartum depression is no easy thing to deal with. Mothers across the world suffer from it and Shields was no different.

Tom Cruise Criticized The Way Brooke Shields Dealt With Her Postpartum Depression
Brooke Shields found herself in a horrible position after giving birth to her first daughter in 2003. She was in such a bad place that she almost was ready to crash herself into a wall on the California 405. She had just decided to go off the prescribed medication because she started to feel better. However, that was far from the case.
“I thought I was going to drive my car into the wall on the 405.”
Tom Cruisefurther tried to give his input on the situation, criticizing the fact that Shields was taking antidepressants to deal with her postpartum depression. When she first got the thought, she immediately called her doctor and he stated that she was to be put back on medication instantly. Furthermore, he was on the call with her throughout the drive until she was safely back home.
“I’m going to take a wild guess and say that Mr. Cruise has never suffered from postpartum depression.”
Tom Cruise was quite rude about her resorting to medication and even went as far as calling her an irresponsible mother. He suggested that she should have instead gone with vitamins and exercise.

Brooke Shields Wanted To Get Back On Tom Cruise’s Cake List
Brooke Shields talked about how she loved it when she would get Tom Cruise’s signature coconut cake every holiday season. The cake is famous and is heavily talked about by various celebrities. From Henry Cavill to Tom Hanks, everyone is in awe of how precious the cake is to them. The cake costs $126 and every holiday season a certain list of people get the white chocolate coconut bundt cake.
“I want to get back on that cake list. It’s the best cake,”Shields once added,“Tom, I need to be back on the cake list.”
Shields was saddened when she discovered that she was no longer on the list. Although she is unsure as to why that ever happened. She still hopes that one day she’ll get the chance to be a part of that list again and be fortunate enough to be friends with Tom Cruise again.
