Over the years, Ben Affleck has cemented himself as an accomplished actor and director and also garnered an Oscar under his belt for his work on 2012’sArgo. The actor is now widely popular for his take on the Caped Crusader and for bringing his spin into the iconic character of Batman. During his appearance inThe Late Late Show With James Corden,Ben Affleckopened up about his initial failures in the realm of Hollywood. After being asked if theBVSstar was ever fired from any of his roles, Affleck jokingly replied that there were multiple cases of him being fired due to his tardiness as a teenager.

However, the actor expressed that the most embarrassing moment occurred during his first movie,Buffy the Vampire Slayer.Affleck explained that his lines were re-recorded in the movie by another actor due to his poor performance. He explained the situation by stating,

“I was so bad. They needed me to be in the scene, but the director [Fran Rubel Kuzui] obviously [was like], ‘I can’t hear the voice again! They had to pay someone to come in and say, ‘Hey man, take it.’ Because apparently, I couldn’t say that convincingly enough.”

However, despite his initial struggles in the industry, theArgoactor didn’t give up hope and eventually cemented his place in the top tiers of the Industry. Affleck also went on to become one of the biggest positives from Zack Snyder’s DCEU, which is now on the verge of a reboot.

Ben Affleck’s Batman was one of the few positives from Zack Snyder’s DCEU

Although the DCEU might not have been the most cohesive and successful cinematic universe and most of its products were critically and commercially underwhelming. However, it’s safe to say that Ben Affleck was easily one of the biggest positives from the subpar universe.

Even though his character might not be as well written as its predecessor and the successor, the actor didn’t fail to deliver an immaculate performance and brought his spin on the iconic character, and is now regarded as one of the most intimidating versions of Batman on the big screen.
