During an insightful discussion on theAbout Last Nightpodcast, Bullock revealed her prerequisites for the scene. She agreed to participate in the humorous moment but with a comedic twist. The stipulation was clear: the scene had to evoke laughter, not titillation. Additionally, Bullock wanted a co-star she trusted and felt comfortable with, making Reynolds, her longtime friend since their early years in the industry, the ideal choice.
Reflecting on the decision, Bullock humorously recalled,“Ryan and I have known each other since we were prepubescent. We go way, way, way back.”

She shared,“I was like, ‘I will do this naked scene only if I can be humiliated and funny. You will not see me trying to attempt being sexy naked—in real life or onscreen.
