Fans get the same incredible feeling watchingInvincible’s Omni-Man andThe Boys’ Homelander because, aside from being a part of an indie superhero show, they also deconstruct the typical notion of the genre.

Under a microscope, fans would start to see who overpowers whom, and clearly, this has become the biggest debate on the internet. Both are terrifying villains, but who is the more ‘hero’ among these two evils?

InvincibleProduction Team Will Take A Holiday Break
The remaining episodes ofInvincibleSeason 2 will premiere in early 2024. Co-creatorRobert Kirkmanshared withTechRadarwhy they are taking a short break after the release of the first part:
“We’re still putting the final polish on the last four episodes, so it made sense, scheduling-wise, to take a break over the holidays. We also realized that there’s a really strong narrative break [between episodes 4 and 5] that makes season 2 feel like two completely different seasons, and it gives us a lot of opportunity to build anticipation for episode 5.”

While this is definitely frustrating for many fans, it also means the production team is making sure they are only delivering the best and highest quality show on television. Kirkman also told a panel at Comic-Con before that they need enough time to prepare (viaVariety):
“This is an extremely complicated show. It’s an hour-long animated series. There are so many characters and scenes. We really had to wrap our heads around how this production was going to be managed.”
TheInvincibleteam will pause for a while but will soon resume once the holiday season is over. In the meantime, Season 2 Episodes 1 to 4 are available to stream via Prime Video.
