What IsCreature Commandos?
Creature Commandosis an animated series written by James Gunn himself and is expected to be one of the first products to come out of the new DCU, with its first phase,Gods and Monsters. The series is set to be a collection of black ops missions carried out by supernatural creatures on behalf of Amanda Waller, a high-ranking government official best known for creating theSuicide Squad. The series has been described as extremely hilarious, focusing on the many different types of genres and themes present outside of DC’s Cinematic Universe.
“I didn’t know what it was when it was sent to me; I met with James, and he sort of laid out a lot of stuff. It’s really exciting. He considers it some of the best stuff he’s ever written.”Harbour said as perCollider.

There is also quite an interesting cast, with actors likeDavid Harbour, Maria Bakalova, Frank Grillo, Indira Varma, Zoe Chao, and Alan Tudyk, being part of it. On top of this, Harbour has called this series some of Gunn’s best work, which is quite a thing to say considering that he is responsible for massively successful projects like theGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy,Suicide Squad, as well asPeacemaker.

David Harbour Talks AboutCreature Commandos
This wasn’t all that David Harbour said aboutCreature Commandos.Harbour, who will be playing the role of Eric Frankenstein, has gone on and on about how hilarious this show is. the actor revealed that though he did not know what he was reading when he got the script originally, he very quickly fell in love with the concept as well as the way his character is written.
“It’s hilarious, and the character is great. I think it’s been announced that it’s Frankenstein, and it’s a very colorful, terrific character. So, yeah, we’ve started to shoot stuff. I’m not one to really break, but during this, it is wildly funny stuff. So, yeah, we’re shooting. It’s hilarious and I can’t wait for people to see it.”He said.

Hyping up the series more, Harbour revealed that though he is not the type to break while shooting, or recording in this case, for this project, he could not stop laughing. While the shooting had just begun, the actor explained that he could not wait for people to watch this, adding that outside of the show is really funny, the characters are truly amazing and well done.
