Marvel movies have been surrounded by loads of controversies and speculation. It might be because Marvel movies overshadow other movies or because of their high-grossing returns, whatever the reason may be, many an artist don’t consider them as art. Considered the death of cinema by some, they have been said to be synonymous with everything not art. And this timePatricia Arquettespoke up in a recent interview, in light of the ongoing WGA strike, comparing them with AI-generated content.

“I support them in their strike. I think also this AI situation is a very big deal — a way bigger deal than people understand…..If we were to go the route of AI, you’re gonna end up with 100 million Marvel movies, rip-off movies. And you’re never going to have a little weird movie. This is never going to come out of an algorithm, this kind of a show.”
Her statement appeared to show Marvel movies as lacking any imagination, hard work, emotions, or even art. This angered the Marvel fanatics, who then took to Twitter to express their disdain.

Fan’s Reaction To Patricia Arquette Stating Marvel Movies Look AI-Generated
The world has been a pretty exciting place lately, with AI taking over most industries and processes. Thanks to AI even movies can be written, made, and produced in a lot less time. With the WGA strike going on, one of their demand is banning AI-generated content and software in the film industry. When Patricia Arquette spoke up on the ongoing strike and role of AI in her recent interview withVariety, her comparison of Marvel movies to AI content was met with huge criticism and anger from fans.
The hate for these movies has become laughable. Criticise them all you want but comparing them to AI movies is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard someone from Hollywood say in a while.

With respect to Patricia, she basically just said all Marvel films are the same with no soul or humanity. Really? Its fine if you don’t like Marvel or superhero genre, but don’t say that crap.

Calling projects like the GOTG trilogy, the Winter Soldier, Infinity War, Iron Man and NWH soulless is a disgusting remark not only to the writers but to the VFX workers who put their passion into making such projects

This is as sad as it is disrespectful. For people who claim to love cinema and art so much, they surely know how to belittle the hard work behind people who make those movies just because they dislike them.

Talk about disrespecting the actual writers of Marvel movies and other blockbusters who’ve put in the work just like the writers on her shows and movies.

Marvel films and comic book movies overall are keeping her business afloat. Theaters depend on them so how about she just 🤐 . I get that there are some mid Marvel films but to say they are all alike means she’s never seen one.

Everyone does have a right to their opinion, whether controversial or not. TheToy Story 4actress, Patricia Arquette may just have given way to a new set of debates about whether or not Marvel movies must be appreciated or disregarded as devoid of an artistic element.
