The star-studded star cast of the movie is another reason for people to fix their spot at the theatre on 06 August 2025.Cillian Murphy,Matt Damon,Florence Pugh,Emily Blunt, andRobert Downey Jr.will be coming together on the big screen to give one of the most anticipated movies of 2023. During a recent interview, Murphy and Downey Jr talked about their upcoming movie. The 58-year-old actor talked about how he felt when he first heard about the movie. While talking about his character and movie, theSherlock Holmesactor said,
“It just, it scared me. Nowhere near as much as I’m sure when you first read this thing and go, ‘Oh, my God, I have to do this whole thing because Chris just called.’ But anyway, I got to experience it, and it was also nice to have the pressure off. Let this guy do the heavy lifting.”
TheOnly Youactor mentioned that it was nice for once to be on the sidelines, as the Irish actor was the most significant character in the movie. Murphy will be portraying the role of J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Murphy has always said out loud that he is aChristopher Nolanfan and his excitement for the upcoming movie with Nolan is evident. While talking about the movie,thePeaky Blindersactor mentioned that the film is sensational. While talking about the character, the 47-year-old actor said,
“I’m never going to have the intellectual capability not many of us do but I loved listening. With that intellect which I think can actually be a burden, you’re not seeing stuff in the normal plane that we do. Everything is multifaceted and about to collapse.”
Nolan, who is the creative force behind the war drama movie, stated that the audience will get to see a different side to Murphy’s talent. While talking about theInceptionactor’s role in the movie, the 52-year-old filmmaker said,
“I think Oppenheimer, of all the characters that I’ve seen Cillian take on and of all the characters that I’ve dealt with in my work, is one of the most complicated and layered people. Cillian is one of the few talents able to explore those different layers and to project that level of complexity.”
