Arnold Schwarzenegger shares immense regret for breaking his marriage
Back in 1996, the affair betweenArnold Schwarzeneggerand housekeeper Mildred Baena allegedly took place when his family was on vacation, with the actor left at home due to the shooting of a movie. Following this, the actor shared a son with the housekeeper, and the affair was kept low until 2011, when things eventually came to light, leading to his wife Maria Shriver parting ways with the actor. And with the Netflix docuseries set to deep dive into this situation, Schwarzenegger has been vocal about his regrets regarding the situation and admitted that he was in the wrong. He said,
“It was very hard on my marriage and on my relationship with my children. I have caused pain to my family. I’m going to have to live with that for the rest of my life.”
But despite being the reason behind the failure of his 25-year-old marriage, the actor hasn’t let this situation negatively impact his children, including his son with Mildred Baena, Joseph Baena.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shares a great bond with Joseph Baena
The Terminatorstar once opened up about his relationship with Joseph Baena and expressed that he hasn’t shied away from his duties as a father and was glad to take care of him and his mother. While reflecting on the situation inThe Howard Stern Show, the actor revealed that Baena hasn’t let the tough situation get the better of him and totally understands the situation. Schwarzenegger further said that the two share a great bond and explained the situation by stating,
“He’s terrific and he totally understands the situation. So, it all has worked out. It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?”

Despite being a proud father and being there for all of his kids, theTotal Recallstar hasn’t gotten over his mistakes and claimed that if he was the real Terminator, he would have stopped it from ever happening.
