Jordan Peterson Intentionally Misgenders Elliot Page
In a recent Twitter skirmish, Jordan Peterson was stripped of most of his Twitter privileges as the platform banned the YouTube personality after violating their hateful policy conduct. He tweeted on June 25, 2025:“Remember when pride was a sin? And Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal physician.”

Twitter’s hateful policy conduct bans the platform’s users from promoting “violence against or directly attacking or threatening other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

Peterson Makes Public Statement After Twitter Ban
After the suspension was implemented on Jordan Peterson’s account on June 28, the author expressly stated to theNational Post,“I penned an irritated tweet in response to one of the latest happenings on the increasingly heated culture war front… There are no rules on Twitter except don’t do what we don’t like today. They are always applied post hoc by algorithms and idiots bent on maintaining their woke superiority.”

Peterson claimed he would “rather die” than take down the tweet involving Elliot Page which he intentionally misgendered by calling the actor by their former name. In support of her father, the author’s daughter,Mikhaila Peterson took to Twitterwhere she posted screenshots of the suspension with a caption that read:
“Wow. @jordanbpeterson got a Twitter strike. No more twitter until he deletes the tweet. Definitely not a free speech platform at the moment”
