The Junker Queen is one of the Overwatch universe’smost beloved characters, even if she didn’t technically have a role in-game outside of being ever-present on the Junkertown map.

Who is Junker Queen in Overwatch 2?
Junker Queen is the leader of the (semi) lawless Junkertown, once home to both Junkrat and Roadhog. However, the Junker Queen did everything she could to keep the two heroes out after they had discovered some ‘treasure’ in the outback ruins.
As the undisputed champion of the Scrapyard within Junkertown, she’s got the fighting prowess to back up her big talk. However, as for the rest of her story, that’ll be fleshed out once she goes live in-game.

While it was initially unclear, we now know for certain that Junker Queen will first be playable in thesecond Overwatch 2 Betakicking off on June 28.
If you happen to miss out on this window, worry not. Junker Queen will make her official debut when Overwatch 2 launches in early access on October 4. There, she’ll be joined bySojournalong with onenew Support hero.
