It is a match made in heaven as Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Martin Scorsese have teamed up for a new movie!
If you’ve watched a Scorsese movie, chances are, you have seen Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro star in it. Both actors have teamed up with the critically acclaimed director for many different movies in the past.
Leonardo DiCaprio has been a part of several films such asThe Wolf of Wall Street, The Departed, Shutter Island, The Aviator, andGangs of New York.
Likewise, Robert De Niro starred in movies likeCasino, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, The King of Comedy,andThe Irishman.
It’s safe to say that these actors are Martin’s top choices for his movies as lead actors. Now it appears that these two will be starring in a Scorsese film again.
The project was announced during the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Leonardo DiCapriorevealedthat he and Robert De Niro will work together in Scorsese’s next project calledKillers of the Flower Moon.
Killers of the Flower Moonis based on the 2017 book of the same name involving murders of native Americans in Osage.
These Native Americans were slaughtered because oil was discovered under their land. This promoted the newly formed Federal Bureau of Investigation during the time of investigation.
Not much else is known about the movie other than it is scheduled to start production this spring in Oklahoma.
The screenplay will be written by Eric Roth. He is known for his works on AStar is Born, Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Insider, Munich, andExtremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

Details about this project is still kept under the wraps but the fact that two powerhouse actors who have both worked on a Scorsese movie is teaming up again is enough to make fans excited.
Scorsese fans can only hope thatKillers of the Flower Moonwill be as good as the previous films Martin has made. Since nothing else has been announced, all we can do now is wait until the film arrives in theaters.
