Having tried his hand at multiple skills including wrestling and boxing along with a cult following on YouTube, the social media influencer has also attempted acting. In an interview withAdweek,Paul spoke about his 2019 filmAirplane Mode, an action comedy that deals with a teenager who travels to Australia for a social media convention.
While the publication referred to the film as an ‘American Pie for Gen Z’, the WWE wrestler felt it was similar toThe Expendableswith internet stars at the helm. Unfortunately, audiences did not share Paul’s enthusiasm. While the film was trolled brutally for being a blatant copy of the 1980 filmAirplaneright down to the jokes,Airplane Mode’sbiggest disaster was its dubious record on YouTube, when it was nominated as the worst YouTube movie in history.

While sibling rivalry can lead to healthy competition, this isn’t always the case in every family. From what has transpired so far between brothers and boxersJake Pauland Logan Paul, it looks like ego clashes and jealousy may have played a big part in the rift between the siblings.
The hints began surfacing when audiences could feel the tense atmosphere between the brothers in theAirplane Modeactor’s podcastImpaulsive. Jake Paul, the younger of the two siblings, believed that his elder brother harbored animosity towards him. In his YouTube channelBS w/ Jake Paul, the wrestler accused his sibling of being a condescending big brother, and elaborated on the differences of opinion he had with Logan Paul.
“Clearly he has envy and jealously towards me, and that’s what I told him off camera. He’s like ‘No, no, no,’ but everyone sees it, it’s like clear as day. I’m not in competition with him. I want him to be a billionaire, I want him to accomplish his goals. It’s him undermining me and being condescending towards me and trying to ‘little bro’ me, discrediting everything that I do.”
With Logan Paul denying these claims made by his brother, it remains to be seen if the famous siblings put their differences behind and work towards a reconciliation in the future.
