Monkey D. Dragon leads the infamous Revolutionary Army inOne Piece. He is the son of renowned marine vice admiral Monkey D. Garp and the father of the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy.
There isn’t much information available about the character as of now. Being the leader of the Revolutionary Army, his goal was to dismantle the world government. This is why Dragon is given the moniker of “The most wanted and dangerous man” in the world.
Dragon is a well-known name, and there is enough fear in people upon hearing this name. Garp revealed that Dragon was Luffy’s father. This wasn’t a surprise toLuffy, but everyone else, including the Straw Hat crew, Koby, Helmeppo, and various navy soldiers, were astonished out of their minds.

How strong is Luffy compared to his father, Monkey D. Dragon?

Dragon’s physical strength hasn’t been portrayed in the series yet, but it won’t be far-fetched to assume that he possesses insane physical capabilities, considering his lineage and reputation. As son of Garp and father of Luffy, it’s reasonable that even he possesses immense physical strength.
Fans also speculate that Dragon might be a user of Haki, albeit it has not been confirmed. The reason for this verdict was his family background. Just like Vice Admiral Garp, it’s likely that even Dragon is a master of all three types of Haki: Observation Haki, Armament Haki, and the rare and mighty Conqueror’s Haki.
One of the most significant theories regarding Dragon’s power is that he might be a Devil Fruit User. There has been more than one instance in which it’s likely foreshadowed that Dragon possesses a Devil Fruit power. It’s concluded that his devil fruit allows him to manipulate the weather.
Apart from these feats, being the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon has amazing tactical acumen and leadership skills. Even though these don’t contribute directly to the physical aspect of this strength, these abilities are important building blocks of strength. Dragon is rather intelligent and has a firm grip on political knowledge which he uses to exploit the weaknesses in the World Government’s rule.
