Margot Robbie’s Intimate Scenes With Leonardo DiCaprio Affected Her Family
The Wolf of Wall StreetgaveMargot Robbiethe necessary impetus to become a Hollywood superstar and one of the most popular actors of her generation. But the road to fame was not an easy one for the Harley Quinn actor. Robbie on many occasions talked openly about a couple of iconic intimate scenes inThe Wolf of Wall Streetthat proved to be very difficult and embarrassing to film. Speaking of the experience on set, Robbie said,
“It doesn’t come across when you’re watching the movie, but in reality, we’re in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in. All men. It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit.”
TheSuicide Squadstar also confessed that she was very nervous while filming these scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor further stated that her brother who cringed while seeing her perform these intimate acts on screen refused to look her in the eye for almost 3 months after watching the film.

Margot Robbie Once Doubted Her Career Choice
Despite the overnight fame that Margot Robbie received with her appearance inThe Wolf of Wall Street,there were times when the actor questioned her worth and presence in Hollywood while also contemplating if she had made the right career choice since she was unable to enjoy the experience of being famous. Robbie in an interview withVanity Fairadmitted that she took her mother’s advice on how to process and handle her newfound superstardom.
“Something was happening in those early stages and it was all pretty awful, and I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this.’ And she just looked at me, completely straight-faced, and was like, ‘Darling, I think it’s too late not to.’ That’s when I realized the only way was forward.”
Following her mother’s words, Margot Robbie took the plunge and embraced her fame and all the trappings of being in the public glare and went from strength to strength over the years with her film choices.
