However, in the latest tell-all interview, with the Comic Book, the actor accidentally spilled what fans of the franchise can expect from its forthcoming seventh and eighth installments. Pegg also discussed whether his character would make it to the next sequel,Dead Reckoning Part Two.

He told the outlet,
“Well, whether or not Benji makes it into Part Two, which I obviously can’t divulge in the true style of Mission: Impossible. There will be another dial on the, you know, another notch on the dial will get turned on, and it’s coming to something incredible. I love the fact that this film feels like, even though it’s Part One, because it’s so relentlessly paced and so sort of; engaging, you get to the end of it, and you’re like, Okay, I can wait for the next one; you know, let me just take a break, and then we’ll see what happens next.”

Tom Cruise’s co-starSimon Peggteased fans that the upcoming sequels of the franchise will be an action-packed affair. Nevertheless, he subtly ignores the question of whether his character is going to appear inDead Reckoning Part Two.

He told Collider,
“They could start with this film to see and understand that this is all real, all the action is real, it’s practical. This movie is an epic adventure. It’s so lush, filled with practical action and amazing locations.”
Cruise Continued,
“[It has] submarines, it has the desert, it has Rome, beautiful locations in Abu Dhabi, Norway, a train that we built, action on the train, and a very engrossing story with a really beautiful cast, an amazing, very charismatic cast. I think when you look at this movie, it really defines what I think about cinema and why because you look at this kind of cast, you look at a brilliant ensemble cast, and the kind of story is very engrossing.”
TheTom Cruiseled-Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Onewill hittheaters on August 24, 2025, and the follow-up sequel,Mission Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two,will be released on August 15, 2025.
