What is an Antimite in Monster Hunter Wilds, and how can you obtain one for your personal use in the new MH game?
Antimite is a Rare 4 item in Monster Hunter Wilds. This means that this material is not easily obtainable. The game classified it as aSpecial Item, meaning that players who stumble upon Antimite in MHW will not really know what to do with it. Because a Special Item is a category used to sort out “Others” in your inventory.
So far, we have learned that players can get some value out of this mineral if they trade it off for something else. Unfortunately, the Mineral can’t be used in any crafting or upgrading recipes at the time of writing.
Where To Find Antimite in Monster Hunter Wilds
To find this Mineral, all Hunters must visit theOilwell Basin. This Special Item is not dropped by any monster, so you can relax because there will be no major fighting to gather it. However, don’t go looking for Antimite either, because that’s not how you find it. Instead, look around forHopper Crystal Ore. There will be severalharvesting pointsin the basin for this ore.

Look for small rock structures that are dark and have a solidified crystal texture. Luckily, you don’t need to be a professional miner to get this Mineral. Just walk up to the ore deposit, press/hold the prompted button, and you can then collect your Antimite.Notethat you will only get one Antimite per Hopper Crystal Ore harvesting point.
There are many Hopper Crystal Ore deposits across the Oilwell Basin. Since each deposit will take around 15-17 minutes to reform and replenish, you’re able to cycle between them to ensure yourmineral farminggoes according to plan.
