Moon Knightstar Gaspard Ulliel, who played the role of Anton Mogart/Midnight Man, has reportedly succumbed to his injuries from a tragic ski accident. The French actor had visited the Alps where, unfortunately, he sustained fatal injuries resulting in his untimely demise. The tragic incident took place at the La Rosiere resort resulting in a critical skull injury. According to reports, the accident occurred due to a collision with another skier at a crossing point, resulting in Gaspard Ulliel’s tragic demise.

Prior to his role in the upcomingMoon Knightseries, Gaspard Ulliel was best known for his performance inA Very Long Engagementfor which he had won a Cesar Award in the Most Promising Actor category back in 2002. The French actor had also won the Cesar Award for Best Actor for his stellar acting performance inIt’s Only The End of The Worldin 2017. Apart from that, Ulliel is also known for playing the role of a young Hannibal Lecter inHannibal Rising(2007), fashion mogul Yves Saint Laurent inSaint Laurent(2014), and for being the face of Bleu de Chanel, the men’s fragrance fromChanel.
Considered to be one of the rising stars in French cinema, Gaspard Ulliel’s role as Midnight Man in the upcomingMoon Knightseries was supposed to be his first grand entry in Hollywood. The late actor had also expressed his desire to become a director in the future after the release ofSaint Laurent.

In the upcomingMoon Knightseries, Gaspard Ulliel is expected to appear as a secondary antagonist alongside Ethan Hawke. Despite having acted in mostly French films, the late actor was known for his methodic and esoteric acting performances that had resulted in winning multiple accolades over the years. Apart from being an actor, Gaspard Ulliel had shot to fame for being the face of Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel since 2010. Interestingly, the late actor had appeared in three shorts for the fashion company which were directed by Martin Scorsese, James Gray, and Steve McQueen.

The late actor is survived by his wife Gaëlle Piétri, a French model-singer, and 6-year-old son Orso.
