With theMan Of Steelstar missing from two of the most prominent roles in pop culture today, many of his loyal fans have decided to take the initiative to boycott the production and revoke their support from these projects. The one that has been hit the hardest seems to be Netflix’sThe Witcherseries, which has started a smear campaign to justify Cavill’s departure from the show because he was supposedly a ‘Toxic Male’ to every female member of the team.

There have been a lot of times when stars have been accused of misbehaving on set, but never in his entire career to date has anyone complained aboutHenry Cavillbeing disrespectful to team members and co-stars, especially women. So when he left the production ofThe Witcherseries due to creative differences with the creative team, people were quick to turn the story in a way that would make the star look like an evil villain.
Twitter has become these smear campaigns’ hotbed as many of them are trying to defame the actor with all sorts of allegations that act like a shield for the show to take cover and do some damage control seeing as many of the viewers are threatening to quit watching the show. In a recent tweet, the post talked about how Henry Cavill would attempt to bypass the wishes of the show’s creator due to his obsession with the story of the show going his way. His demeaning behavior was linked to his nerdy obsession with video games, from where he apparently gets his ‘Toxic Trait’ from.

Now as many of the fans and supporters might know about the actor, Cavill is always said to be one of the nicest people in the room, and also a true gentleman to the ladies, so listening and reading things like these just after he had quit the show with a threat of losing viewership. it seems too convenient a time for all of this to come out of the blue about someone who is known for being a gentle soul. To most, it looks like nothing but a smear campaign against the actor.

With his departure from the Witcher Universe as well as the DCU, many kept wondering what project Henry Cavill would take next. Speculations ranged from him joining the 007 franchise as the next James Bond, and even him switching sides to the MCU. Although these things can be true for the future, Cavill seems to have found his passion project with Prime Video’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the very popular miniature game Warhammer 40,000.
