Narutois more than 700+ chapters long and, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most iconic series of all time. The series inspires many upcoming new-gen anime and manga and has played a crucial role in increasing the popularity of the anime medium worldwide.

Sakura Haruno

Most of the fanbase hates Sakura and often proclaims her to be the worst female character in the series. Surprisingly, the one character with little to no screen time and was severely overlooked and underdeveloped was Hinata Hyuga.

The least-developed female character in theNarutoseries is Hinata Hyuga

Throughout theNarutocommunity, one common practice is making fun of Sakura, who fans often believe to be the worst female character in the series.

Naruto, Hinata and Sakura

However, they could not be further from the truth. Sakura is one of the most crucial characters in the series, unlike the love interest of Naruto Uzumaki, who is Hinata Hyuga.

Contemporarily, Hinata never played a crucial role in the story; aside from supporting Naruto from the sidelines, the romance throughout the series was one-sided.

Naruto never acknowledged Hinata as a love interest until the lastNarutomovie; at the beginning of the story, Hinata was in love with Naruto.

Towards the end, it was still the same; the only character development she got was during the Chunin arc, where she decided to fight her older brother Neji.

Sakura received the most character development as a female inNaruto

Narutohas many female characters, each playing a crucial role during particular arcs; however, Sakura plays the most prominent role in the story.

When Sakura was introduced, she was a rude and arrogant girl who only wanted Sasuke to acknowledge and love her.

However, Sasuke, engulfed in hatred, never paid attention to her. Sakura soon realized that she needed to work hard to be with Sasuke.

She worked hard, learned many new jutsu, and even became a good friend of Naruto’s and supported him in hard times.

Her love for Sasuke was still there, but she realized that Naruto was a part of her life and that she should cherish him more.

Towards the final battle, she also landed a decisive blow on Kaguya. In terms of all the female characters in the series, Sakura was the most developed.
