Violetwas released this Friday, the 29th of October. On this occasion, we talked with Olivia Munn, Luke Bracey, and director Justine Bateman. Olivia Munn declared that while filmingViolet, she would sometimes hear the same voices in her head:

“Sometimes, even in the filming of the movie, there would be those fears (…) that would come up for me, like ”Can I do this scene?'”

Violet, portrayed by Olivia Munn, is a young woman who constantly struggles with the voices in her head that are putting her down and demeaning her. These voices (narrated by Justin Theroux), Violet calls them her ”committee”. They are constantly telling her that she is not good enough and that she shouldn’t express her feelings. They are holding her back and stopping her from making the decisions that would radically change her life and lead to her happiness.Withthe support of her childhood friend, Red (Luke Bracey), Violet finally realizes that she can no longer listen to her “committee”.
