Luffy’s journey to be the King of the Pirates has taken him through several highs and lows and helped him grow into one of the strongest characters ever. His Gomu Gomu no Mi makes him a rubber man. He recently awakened the Devil Fruit, which allowed him to alter his surrounding into rubber, too.
Years later, it was revealed that the real name of his Devil fruit is Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Awakening this power, helped Luffy easily defeat Kaido at the end of the Wano arc. 5Magu Magu no Mi
Magu Magu no Mi allows its user to become the embodiment of Magma. Akaini ate this fruit, the fleet admiral of the Marines. The Magma Devil Fruit is one of the strongest Devil Fruits inOne Piece, and Akainu has showcased its power during the Marineford arc. Magma, being hot, can melt down rubber and is one of the worst matches for Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi. Even though fans hate Akainu for killing Ace, there is no doubt that he is also capable of killing Luffy with his Devil Fruit powers.

4Soru Soru no Mi
Charlotte Linlin is a user of Soru Soru no Mi. It allows the user to interact and manipulate the soul. Considering its power, Big Mom is the best person that can use it to its full potential. The Devil Fruit can be used to intimidate others and take their souls out. The user can put the extracted soul in another object and it will instantly become alive and will become a loyal henchman to its user. Stealing the soul can be deadly as it can kill the person.
3Toshi Toshi no Mi
Toshi Toshi no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows its users to alter the ages of people. This Devil Fruit was eaten by Jewelry Bonney, one of the Pirates from the Worst Generation. Not much was known about Toshi Toshi no Mi untilOne Piecechapter 1101. The chapter showcased a glimpse of its true power. Jewelry Bonney imagined Nika having a rubber body and becoming a rubber human to hurt his enemy.
It showed that Toshi Toshi no Mi can copy abilities if the user imagines them. So, even if Luffy uses Gear 5, Bonney can just copy his powers or turn him into an older man. Since Gear 5 takes a massive toll on his body, his old self will not be able to handle such pressure.

2Ope Ope no Mi
Trafalgar D. Water Law was forcefully fed the Ope Ope no Mi Corazon, which granted him the ability to do surgeries on anything he fancied. This power earned him the title ‘Surgeon of Death’ inOne Piece. Without killing someone, he can extract their hearts, change the anatomy of their body, and even dismember them. Law uses a technique named ‘Room’, which allows him to create a barrier around him. Anything inside that barrier can be targeted by him. If Luffy, in Gear 5, tries to attack him inside his barrier, he can repel him or, better, change his whole anatomy.
1Yami Yami no Mi
Yami Yami no Mi is one of the most unique types of Devil Fruit that allows its user to harness and control darkness, along with its gravity properties. It is eaten by the main protagonist inOne Piece, Marshall D. Teach, commonly known as Blackbeard. The logia-type Devil fruit makes the user’s body tangible and deals more damage to the body than intended. But it also allows the user to nullify the enemy’s technique when the two come in contact.
Yami Yami no Mi’s Black Hole technique can engulf its surroundings in a pool of nothingness. It can even absorb Devil Fruit attacks, which was showcased when Blackbeard fought Ace. In simpler words, Devil Fruit’s powers are useless in front of Yami Yami no Mi.
