This event has secrets that have been a mystery since Fleet Admiral Sengoku talked about it. It’s well-known for ending the Rocks Pirates. And now the flashback is set to explain how famous pirates got their strong Devil Fruits.

Origin of Many Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits Traced Back to the God Valley Incident
On an island called God Valley, Pirate King Gol D. Roger and Luffy’s Grandpa Garp worked together to defeat Rocks D. Xebec and his strong crew, including Kaido, Big Mom, and Whitebeard.
The incident led to the island disappearing from the seas. Before the World Government wiped out the island, terrible events took place there, including Celestial Dragons hunting and killing slaves and innocent people for fun. The rich World Nobles give their slaves special fruits to have fun. The six strange boxes probably hold rare fruits. They look like other containers seen before. But the prizes in the boxes won’t go to the mean Celestial Dragons, from what fans understand.

Rocks Pirates’ Heist: Stealing Mythical Devil Fruits from God Valley
InOne Piece Film: RED, it’s suggested that Gol D. Roger found a chest on God Valley with a baby Shanks. Later chapters might confirm if this information is true, and they might reveal what was in the other chests owned by the Celestial Dragons.
To solve the mystery of these chests, we could look at which characters were there during the incident. Some of the rare Devil Fruits, the involved pirates displayed, might have come from these chests in chapter #1095.
Kaido remembered getting a special Dragon fruit from Big Mom during the God Valley event, making him indebted to her. The Rocks Pirates, even though they were not honorable, might have taken legendary fruits during that time.
