Pet Eggs are now live in Grow a Garden! By hatching new Eggs, you can unlock pet animals that provide passive abilities to boost your garden. There are six varieties of eggs you can purchase from the new Pet Eggs shop, with rarities ranging from Common to Exotic. While four of these eggs will hatch animals, two of them will hatch bugs. Get your hands on these pets and boost your gardens!

Everything To Know About Pet Eggs in Grow a Garden
For those unaware, Pet Eggs were introduced in the latest Animal update for Grow a Garden. You can purchase up to three eggs from Raphael’s Pet Egg Shop. Each of these eggs has a specific hatch time that increases with its rarity. All the Pets have certain passive buffs that will help your progress in the game.

Pets and Their Passive Ability
Each pet has some unique passive abilities to help grow your garden. The higher the rarity, the better passive a pet has.
How To Purchase Pet Eggs
To purchase Pet Eggs, make your way to Raphael’s shop located beside the Gear shop. Previously, it was the stall where you could redeem your seed packs for daily quests. Every 30 minutes, a new set of three eggs is available for players to purchase. New players should start by getting the common eggs available for 50,000 Sheckles. Late-game players can either get the common eggs or wait for eggs of higher rarity.
Once your Pet Egg is purchased, head over to your plot. Place the Eggs in your plot and wait for them to hatch. As mentioned before, the higher the rarity, the longer it takes to hatch. Once your Egg is ready to be hatched, just hold down the hatch button near the Egg. That’s it, your animal will be out of the Egg and roaming around your garden. Initially, the animal’s size only depends on your luck. As you feed them and they gain more EXP, their size will grow.
You can also sell your pets to Raphael to make way for new pets. The higher experience your pet has, the more Sheckles you will earn.
