Ben Affleck is a wonderful actor and has thousands of fans worldwide. However, when it comes to his personal life, he might not have been as wonderful for he was accused of being unfaithful while being married to Jennifer Garner. However, before the details of his alleged affair could become public, the celebrated actor was once belittled by the director David Fincher for being duplicitous.
Affleck appeared in the 2014 David Fincher-directed movie,Gone Girl, and after having watched his amazing acting and capability, the director made some very brutal yet insightful comments about the actor.

In the movieGone Girl,Ben Affleckis accused of his wife’s sudden disappearance and murder. He is later revealed to have been cheating on his wife. And Affleck did a wonderful job of playing his troubled character without giving so much of a hint about his unfaithfulness. This made the director,David Fincherremark, in an interview withThe New York Daily,
“If I was his wife, I think I would be very suspicious, always, of whoever just called because he has a real gift at being able to insinuate a conversation. This is something that Ben is extraordinarily good at, when he has to cook up a phone conversation, when he has to hear somebody on the other end of the phone…He has to do these things in the foreground where he takes out his phone and looks at it and he puts it away so his sister doesn’t see it. There are people who do that and it’s too pointed. But Ben is very, very subtle and there’s a kind of indirectness to the way he can do those things. Probably because he’s so duplicitous.”
His comments seemed to have been proved prescient since Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner came to know about his alleged fling during their marriage.

Ben Affleck was married toJennifer Garnerfor 10 years before they separated because of their lifestyle differences and due to other reasons. While they continued to meet up and announced their separation in June 2015, Garner revealed that Affleck had a fling with their children’s nanny in an interview in 2016 (viaMirror).
However, the actress stated that they had been separated before theBatmanstar’s affair took place and that it had nothing to do with their divorce.
“Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation.”
Now, happily co-parenting, the two are often spotted together with their kids.
