Chad Stahelski Discussed a PotentialJohn Wick 5
There is a spoiler ahead if you are one of the rare people who has not watchedJohn Wick: Chapter 4.
Keanu Reeves‘ character seemed to have passed away when Winston Scott (Ian McShane) and Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) went to John Wick’s grave, which was next to his late wife. Thus, it is obvious that John’s story is over now. Well, perhaps not.
According to Chad Stahelski, who appeared on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, Reeves and he were in discussions about the possibility of making a further installment of the franchise, and the Canadian actor was very enthusiastic about the idea:
“Yeah, Keanu and I have talked. Keanu, if you ask him right now, ‘Would you do John Wick 5?’ He’d be, ‘Fck yeah’. But then he’d look and go, ‘Well, what is it? I have no fuking idea.’ That’s all. Believe me. It’s not like, ‘We’re going to figure it out today.’ Like, look man, we’re going to do our other stuff for a little bit, but if I was driving in the car or if I was walking the dog and an idea hit me, within 30 seconds I’d be on the phone to Keanu and we’d be riffing.”
